About Lowe Alpine

Lowe Alpine was created by climber Greg Lowe in 1967, brother and climbing partner of noted first ascensionist and early advocate of Alpine style climbing Jeff Lowe. They created an innovative internal framed backpack. They had a willingness and vision to think differently about how to create them. This was the start of a revolution that has generated innovation after innovation, almost yearly right up to the present day.
